Best Friends

I feel like Charlie and Adelaide have been best friends since Charlie was about 6 months old. That is when he started crawling and I think they really began to interact with each other. "Ada" was one of Charlie's first words, second only to "dada."

Shortly after Malachi was born, a bit of sibling rivalry started between A & C. But thankfully, this has really slowed down in the past month and they are getting along better than ever. It's so sweet to see how much they care for each other, which really shows up when one of them is hurt or in trouble. A few weeks back, Charlie woke up in the middle of the night throwing up and with a fever. After we got him cleaned up, he just wanted to know where Adelaide was and if he could see her :)

The past few days Adelaide has been 'reading' books to Charlie. One morning when they were done reading they snuggled up on the couch to watch their new favorite show "Mickey Mouse." They also have been having so much fun lately putting together a Madeline floor puzzle that we have. It's 2-sided, so they put together one side then flip it over and do the other side - again and again. Too fun.
